About The Joker Exchange
I fell in love with American Mahjong in 2023 after taking a local introductory class with friends. I dove right in and started learning, playing, teaching and sharing my passion with others. What drew me to Mahjong is the friendships that quickly formed, the beautiful tiles and mats, the rich history of the game, and the time set aside each week to play, laugh and connect.
Growing up in a fourth-generation retail family business and spending a decade in sales and marketing, I am finally fulfilling my dream of owning a warm and inviting space I can call my own. Whether sourcing vintage dice dishes, testing out travel sets, or connecting with local makers, I am continually hunting to find quality items to personalize your Mahjong experience.
With my Master’s in Education and two decades as an educator, becoming an Oh My Mahjong Certified Mahj Mentor and helping others fall in love with the game was the perfect fit! Lessons at The Joker Exchange are designed to feel intimate, inclusive, and unrushed.
